OPENING CEREMONIES

 

1.              CALL MEETING TO ORDER

 

Mayor Bergman called the Special City Council Meeting of October 30, 2007 to order at 6:03 p.m.

 

2.              ROLL CALL

 

Present: Mayor Brian Bergman, Mayor Pro Tem Stan Carroll, and Council Members Layne Baroldi, Tela Millsap and Howard Vipperman

Also present: City Attorney Sandra Levin

           

3.              FLAG SALUTE

 

Tela Millsap led the flag salute.

 

Mayor Bergman adjourned the meeting to the Closed Session at 6:05 p.m.

 

CLOSED SESSION

 

4.              PUBLIC EMPLOYEE APPOINTMENT

Govt. Code 54957

Title: Interim City Manager

 

5.         CONFERENCE WITH LABOR NEGOTIATOR

      Govt. Code 54957.6

      City Negotiator: Sandra Levin, City Attorney

      Unrepresented employee: Interim City Manager

 

            Mayor Bergman reconvened the meeting at 10:12 p.m. and asked if City Attorney Levin had anything to report.

 

            City Attorney Levin stated there was no reportable action taken.

 

ADJOURNMENT

 

            Mayor Bergman adjourned the meeting at 10:13 p.m. to Thursday, November 1, 2007.
